A Book For Every Occasion

In this class, I will teach you how to make a beautiful, one of a kind fabric book.  The book project measures roughly, 5 1/2 x 7.  You can make this book any size or shape that you wish to. By changing the colors, design, size, papers, etc., each book will reflect a unique and one of a kind look to it.

In this class, I will show you, that by taking discarded, vintage, old and recycled items, you can create a one of a kind book. I will walk you through the steps and teach you how to make the luscious fabric spine, the bezel, patina your bezel, sewing pages/signatures, incorporating various fabrics scrapes into your book and how to distress your papers, with acrylics and inks.

Have you ever wanted to learn, how to make handmade fabric books from the ground level up? How about taking pieces of fabrics and create luscious layers, that causes the viewer to want to investigate your book further? Then this is the class for you!

I love creating books, that allows you to journal, sketch, watercolor, scrapbook, etc. A place that allows you, to record that special event, memory or moment, that you can revisit and cherish for years to come.

I have also made my classes, available for download. Please keep in mind, that to be able to download the videos, you may find that your download speed is too slow. If you find that you are having a hard time downloading the videos, this may require you to find a spot(business) that allows free use of their wifi and has faster download speed or contact your internet provider and see about obtaining faster speed. Also, sometimes firewall protections and image blockers will prevent you from downloading videos.
