I have used several components to create the covers and pages within this beauty. I have incorporated watercolor papers (many that have been altered or enhanced with inks, papers, paints, words, etc), stitching, vintage fabrics, leather, various types of papers, vintage papers, vintage buttons, pencils, tissues and a old metal piece with numbers on it.
I have created a book that allows you to jump right into it and leave your message, sketch, drawings, journaling or use it as a scrapbook to record that special event/day. Many of my customers leave my books as a piece of art within itself. Use it as a display piece/conversational piece, which I think is awesome. Regardless as to what you use this book for, it will be a piece that will have you revisiting it time and again.
There are 25 pages of watercolor papers of various sizes and if you count the backsides of these, that would make 50 sides/surfaces for you to create onto. Many of the pages within this book have been altered/enhanced with papers, inks, buttons, pencils, words, tissues, etc.
This book itself measures roughly, 5 1/2" L x 4 1/4" W.
Colors may vary slightly due to your monitor/phone/tablet screen.
I make my books to be sturdy, but please keep in mind that I am using old, vintage, tattered or recycled pieces in my art. Many of the pages or fabrics are old and tattered and may continued to deteriorate, so it still needs to be handled with care.
Whether you keep this beauty for yourself or give it away as a gift, it will be a piece that will be treasured for years.
